Create a notification channel

To receive information about the occurrence of an incident, you must set the notification channel. The notification channel contains information about the recipient and sending methods.

To create a channel, go to the "Alerting" page in the "Monitoring" section.

1. Click the Notification Channels tab.
2. Click the "Add" button.
3. Name the channel.
4. Select the notification type: phone or email.
5. Enter the email or phone number of the recipient, depending on which type of notification you selected earlier.
6. Click the Create Channel button.
