Configuring access rights

A project member cannot change the role for:

  • the project owner;
  • themselves;
  • a member with the same role as themselves.

Only the project owner can assign a different role to a super administrator.

  1. Go to the VK Cloud management console.
  2. Go to the Access management section on the Users and roles tab.
  3. Click  for the required project member and select Edit.
  4. Select one of the basic roles: Super Administrator, Project Administrator, Security Administrator, or Viewer.
  5. Expand the required groups of permissions, then:
    • Check the boxes for the permissions you want to grant to the user.
    • Uncheck the boxes for the permissions you want to revoke from the user. Use the search if necessary to find the required permission.
  6. Click the Save button.
